Holland Container Innovations was invited by Procter and Gamble to be part of the P&G and Partners event. During this event, HCI had the opportunity to pitch their business proposal to relevant stakeholders from Procter & Gamble, AB InBev, DEME, GSK, Nokia, Puratos and Solvay. This was a great opportunity to present how 4FOLD as a Service will bring down emissions regarding P&G’s transportation.
The CO2 emissions of P&G’s internal activities in 2017 were 5 Mton, while the CO2 emission of P&G’s transport and distribution was 12,5 Mton (P&G citizenship report, 2017). This shows how big the influence of transportation is on a company’s CO2 emission. The pitch was received very positively and P&G and HCI are in discussion about how to start reducing emissions with 4FOLD as a Service.
