Holland Container Innovations will present 4FOLD Foldable Containers as a Service to Electrolux managers and network with fellow SMEs. HCI is one of the 14 companies selected to attend this exclusive event funded by the European Innovation Council (EIC) pilot. HCI will explain how Electrolux can meet their CO2 targets related to transport by using foldable containers and saving money at the same time!
The initiative will be hosted by Electrolux Open Innovation, whose purpose is to identify new business opportunities across the entire value chain of the company and support the transformation of external innovation into tangible solutions for the company. HCI will have the opportunity to pitch 4FOLD Foldable Containers as a Service to Electrolux at their Innovation Factory.
Electrolux claims the Innovation Factory represents a step change from “discovery” to the “execution” phase of Open Innovation opportunities. “Nowadays, scouting the right innovation partner, being a start-up or a consolidated enterprise, and selecting the best solution is no more sufficient to address our business challenges. We have to open up our boundaries and to drive innovation side-by-side with innovators whereby creating a direct connection between external partners and Electrolux functions is fundamental to make this step change possible and make innovation happen.” explains Beatrice Maestri, Open Innovation Manager.
